PRIDE RIDE UTAh
A Community-Led Snow Day & Fundraiser@ Brighton ResortFree • Inclusive • All Are WelcomeOur Story
Pride Ride Utah began as a response to the lack of visible, welcoming queer spaces in snow sports. What started as a small community gathering in 2021 has grown into an annual celebration of queer joy, access, and belonging on the mountain.
Hosted at Brighton Resort, Pride Ride Utah brings together LGBTQIA2S+ community members, allies, families, and first-time riders for a day rooted in inclusion, connection, and collective care.
Pride Ride Utah is fully volunteer-run and community-funded, with the goal of reducing barriers and expanding access to outdoor spaces that have not always felt safe or welcoming.
Who We Are
-
To create accessible, inclusive, and affirming outdoor experiences for LGBTQIA2S+ community members through snow sports, community gathering, and joy-centered celebration.
-
A future where queer and trans people feel safe, supported, and celebrated in outdoor recreation spaces; on the mountain and beyond.
-

Physical accessibility
We actively work with Brighton Resort and community partners to:
Provide deeply discounted lift tickets
Offer low-barrier entry points for beginners
Expand adaptive and all-ability access (ongoing partnerships in progress)
**Beach Activities: All activities on the beach are free, so people can come up and party for free without needing a lift ticket.
**Afterparty: 1) Free beginner skateboard lessons & open skate at All Together Skate Park, 2) Discounted passes to The Bouldering Project, 3) afterparty is free
-

Proceeds support local LGBTQIA2S+ supportive nonprofits
The afterparty at evo Hotel provides an additional fundraising opportunity
