Our Story Throughout the Years
2025
2025 was our first year operating as a registered nonprofit! To make ourselves sustainable, we split this year’s fundraising proceeds with our beneficiary, Jackie’s Recovery Services. We received a total of $10,402.16 in donations, from which we donated $2,500 to JRS, kept $5,000 as our annual operating budget, and put the rest into hosting an amazing event. We had 580 participants at Brighton, with 40 first-time skiers and 26 first-time snowboarders. Our afterparty was a hit with 376 participants.

2024
Pride Ride 2024 was a success!! We nearly doubled our attendance again with 700+ attendees that braved the blizzard conditions, that equated to 16” of powder! The community showed up and we raised over $8,000 for Rock Camp SLC. To wrap up the day, we had our second afterparty at EVO Hotel & Crown Bar and expanded to include ATS and Salt Lake Bouldering Project.
2023
2023 brought in some big names, local supporters, small business, and a reminder that we can all show and share the love. We doubled our attendance (479!) and raised $11,000 for Flourish Therapy, Inc. We had our first afterparty at EVO Hotel & Crown Bar.
2022
In 2022, we were just starting to grow, get our name out there, and show up in even bigger ways. With close to 250 folks in attendance, we raised $3,000 to support mental health interns providing Queer Friendly therapy. We had some amazing donors!
2021
The Inaugural Pride Ride! 2021 brought the challenges we all faced during COVID, yet Michelle set out to start an amazing passion project. She worked with a local non-profit, spread the word, and celebrated with 35 amazing queer folks on the hill. Although the party looked different back then, the same goal was in mind: bring together queer folks on the mountain.
